HAPPY HALLOWEEN

This space is reserved for a picture of Patrick and I dressed up as Bonnie and Clyde tonight for the Halloween party. This picture will most likely be posted tomorrow because we won't have anyone to take a picture of us until we go to the party. Aaaaaand, I doubt that we will be home from the party and in a condition to post blog pictures before midnight.
Edit: There it is.

Scrapbookers

I started making my brother a scrapbook of Kaylen this weekend. This is the fourth page that I've done. These are pictures of when she was first born (over three years ago!). I hope he likes it.

Done!

This is a picture of my completed thesis proposal! After a lot of work, I finally sent it off to my committee members this evening. This means that I will probably propose (a formal presentation) next week. YAY!!!!!!!!!

Censor Skeletoned

We went to the Legion tonight around 8 and found all of my classmates and professors there drunk. They had been there since 5:00. Anyway, this is a picture of one of their Halloween decorations. Notice that his bow-tie is made of candy corn. Byron, one of the Legion employees (and my professor's golf partner) bought everyone a shot and then toasted to us supporting the Legion and for having fun. What a great toast! Then one of my classmates got drunkenly angry, flipped everyone off and stormed out the door. Oops.

Jack-o-Lantern Friends

Our jack-o-lanterns now have friends! Or maybe body guards - our jack-o-lanterns are the small ones closest to the door. It was either this picture or a picture of a cream cheese muffin that I ate earlier. In the end, I thought jack-o-lanterns were more exciting.

It's getting cold!

It snowed today. Patrick was all giddy about it, but I cursed it. I know that Minnesota snow is different than Oklahoma snow. Oklahoma snow is nice and pretty and goes away before it becomes annoying. Minnesota snow, on the other hand, is much more sinister. It stays until APRIL. Luckily, Patrick and I went to the mall this evening and I bought a pair of versatile black boots.

Pasta Virgin

This is Patrick making dinner. He made tuna and mushroom casserole - yum! He told me it was the first time he had ever cooked pasta. I thought he was lying, so I made him look me in the eyes and say it. So I really do think it was the first time that he cooked pasta. The casserole turned out really well! Now I want to make him watch The Strangers with me.

My Treadmill

This is the treadmill that I almost always use. I had been running outside up until this week when it started to get cold. Natalie (my classmate) and I now try to go to the gym every day after we get off work at 4. The treadmills are numbered and this one is number one - for real and to me.

Picture Board Face-Lift

Today I re-did the picture board in the I/O Psychology Office. The pictures were so old that we didn't even know some of the people in them. I replaced these pictures with newer ones from this year and last (trips to San Francisco and Owatonna, singing at the Legion, etc.). I also found out that there were spotlights for the board. Dan, the program director, turned them on and now the new collage glows!

St. Peter Karaoke

We went to Patrick's Pub in St. Peter for Wednesday Night tonight. There was karaoke going on, but the only people into it were five drunken middle-aged people. It looked like they were having the best night EVER.
