Pistachios (sp?)

Hogan ordered too many pistachios for our clients, so we have been eating them non-stop for a week. It's to the point that we complain about our fingers hurting from cracking them open. I saw a bag of them at the store the other day and thought, "I eat that in an afternoon." Then I noticed the bag was $15. I think our perception of the value of pistachios is becoming distorted.

Non-Traditional Thanksgiving

Tonight me, Patrick, and my work lady friends had a non-traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We had roasted chicken, broccoli/mushroom/pepper casserole, stuffins (!), spinach salad, sweet potato casserole, rolls, cookies, pumpkin cake, and spiked cranberry punch. It was all very yummy. The cats also participated in our feast out on the front porch.

A New Beginning

I think I'm going to try this again. I just went through and reread all of my earlier pictures of the day and really enjoyed it. This is a picture of Hector after the camera scared Sagan away. Even her love of stalking Hector doesn't trump her camera shyness.
